Wow… so behind on the blogging, but I am giving myself lots of grace. I’ve got two little boys now that are my world, my chaotic, blissful, messy, lovely world. From sunrise to sunset today, the deluge of rain did not let up. We missed out on the neighborhood parade, eating watermelon beneath the hot sun, and frolicking with the garden hose–but we did enjoy a whole day together as a family of four. Here are some highlights:
Playing in the rain with our favorite toy of the summer: the watering can. Everett is obsessed with watering our basil and rosemary, and he absolutely loves exploring our neighbor’s garden.
It was actually chilly today on this rainy 4th of July in Nashville. We are so thankful for the front porch at our new house that allows us to soak up the fresh air everyday!
We had dinner with some of our neighbor friends. Everett is gnawing on his very first BBQ rib. Yum!
My boys! Red, white, blue, and CUTE!
Our Family of Four! It’s 9:30 at night here and both boys are spent… but we were able to capture this one shot of all of us.
